JOSIAS - jo-si'-as (Textus Receptus, Iosias; Westcott and Hort, The New Testament in Greek Ioseias) :(1) Greek form in the King James Version of Josiah (Mt 1:10,11; compare 1 Esdras 1; Baruch 1:8), king of Judah.
(2) In 1 Esdras 8:33 the King James Version for JESIAS (which see).
